Construction workers found human remains while working at a job site in Brooklyn Monday night, police said.

The men were repairing the sewer system at a building on Clarkson Avenue and East 48th Street in East Flatbush when they found bones buried beneath the ground around 7:30 p.m.

The Medical Examiner’s Office later determined the bones were in fact human.

The incident is still under investigation, police said.
