Break out your green and get ready to celebrate Irish heritage and culture.

Hundreds of thousands of marchers and spectators are expected to enjoy the festivities of the New York City Saint Patrick’s Day Parade on Saturday.

The 251st annual parade begins at 44th Street and marches north on Fifth Avenue past St. Patrick’s Cathedral. It ends at 86th Street.

This year’s grand marshal is Francis X. Comerford, an executive with NBC. He grew up in Brooklyn, but traces his Irish lineage back to Ireland’s County Kilkenny.

The parade starts at 11 a.m.

Other revelers will be holding a “Sober St. Patrick’s Day” celebration at a high school on the Manhattan’s Upper East Side.

The alcohol-free bash will include Irish step dancers, pipe bands and other musical acts.
