A nerdy Hunter College student who was vice president of his high school Science Honor Society was busted for allegedly smuggling more than a pound of designer drugs into the United States from China.

Daren Moshe, 22, who previously attended SUNY Binghamton, picked up what he thought was 507 grams of an illegal chemical compound known as Alpha PVP hidden in a shipment of rabbit-shaped lamps on Friday, court records reveal.

The off-white, crystalline powder is “used to replicate a narcotic commonly known as ‘molly,’ ” according to a Brooklyn federal court filing.

Homeland Security agents had secretly replaced the Alpha PVP with “sham” drugs after the hidden stash was discovered during a routine customs inspection at JFK Airport.

Moshe allegedly had the drugs shipped from Shanghai to a UPS Store in White Plains, where he opened an account under a fake name.
