The husband of a woman found dead inside a car in Brooklyn with her throat slit surrendered to cops early Wednesday, authorities said.
The car where Karen Ashley was found with her throat slit.Gabriella Bass Police discovered the Karen Ashley, 45, in the driver’s seat of a gold 2004 Nissan Maxima on Blake Avenue near Drew Street in East New York at about 11:55 p.m.
The woman’s throat had been cut and she was pronounced dead at the scene.
It is believed the woman’s 57-year-old husband, identified as Beresford Ashley, was inside the car with her before she was killed, sources said.
He later turned himself in at the 78th Precinct, which encompasses Park Slope. He was charged with murder and possession of a weapon.
The incident is still under investigation.
