He saved a coworker from a boss’s sexual harassment and got canned for it, an American Museum of Natural History employee claims.

Software engineer Tarek Ahmed allegedly interrupted supervisor Sam Tran last August as Tran had a female employee cornered during a conference , according to a Manhattan Federal Court lawsuit.

Tran “was moving in on her as though he was going to kiss her,” Ahmed claims in court papers, adding the woman “was very uncomfortable and was trying to free herself.”

Ahmed, who is seeking unspecified damages, pulled Tran away from the encounter, and urged him to apologize to the woman, only to be fired a month later, he charges.

“The Museum does not comment on pending legal cases, regardless of whether or not they have any merit,” spokesman Roberto Lebron said.

Tran did not respond to a message.
