A Brooklyn woman trying to make a healthy smoothie was scalded when the high-performance blender exploded in her face, a new lawsuit charges.

Latisha King, 36, used the NutriBullet on July 2, “as she had done on numerous other occasions,” the Brooklyn Supreme Court filing claims.

But when she removed the top, “the blended contents exploded, causing scalding hot liquid onto her face and body,” alleges the suit, which claims the blender was defective and the manufacturer was negligent.
