A crowd of 2,500 flooded Grand Central yesterday for the grand opening of the city’s latest Apple store — a marriage of Silicon Valley and historic New York that drew techies, tourists and time-crunched commuters. Some stood in line for 24 hours to tour the 23,000-square-foot space, on the east and northeast balconies overlooking the main concourse. The store had 4,000 visitors by noon, Apple reported.
