“Inception” actor Joseph Gordon-Levitt needed 31 stitches after slamming his bike into a taxi cab during a film shoot in New York City, TMZ reported Tuesday.

Shattered glass from the taxi’s rear window gashed the actor’s forearm. The crash happened during filming for the action flick “Premium Rush,” in which Gordon-Levitt plays a bike messenger.

“Busted through the rear window of a cab. Luckily got my elbows up. Coulda been way worse… it was my fault, I was going too fast,” the actor wrote on his website.

“This is f****** cool,” he said in a video he posted, pointing to the blood oozing out of his wound. “I mean kids don’t try this at home or nothing.”
