Indian Pt. glitch
The Indian Point 2 nuclear reactor north of the city automatically shut down yesterday, with the main electrical generator cited as the “probable” cause.
The unit on the Hudson River in Buchanan, 27 miles outside New York City, halted at about 6 a.m. Jerry Nappi, an Entergy spokesman said. He added that there was no radiation leak.
