The drug-addled madman accused of killing four victims to score a sack of painkillers was indicted yesterday.

“He was indicted and I’m waiting for the certification of the indictment,” defense lawyer Mary Elizabeth Abbate said about David Laffer. Suffolk County police had already charged Laffer, who allegedly slaughtered two employees and two customers in a Medford, LI, pharmacy last week, with one count of murder and resisting arrest. A Suffolk grand jury convened yesterday has the ability to increase the number of homicide counts. The indictment will be certified this morning.

Laffer, 33, did not testify before the grand jury, Abbate said.

It’s unclear whether his wife, Melinda, is cooperating.
