An appeals court Tuesday ruled that former Weather Underground member Judith Clark will have to wait a little bit longer in her bid for a new parole hearing.

Clark is serving a commuted 35-years-to-life sentence for the infamous 1981 robbery of a Brinks car that left two New York police officers and a security guard dead.

Lawyers with the State Parole Board appealed the April 2017 hearing, automatically freezing proceedings. The 68-year-old’s lawyers then filed papers requesting the stay be lifted.

Inmates are granted parole hearings every two years, so Clark will be back before the board in April 2019, even if she loses the appeal.

Convicted of murder and robbery charges for her role as a getaway driver, Clark sued the state Parole Board in December 2017 after it denied her release.

The unanimous ruling decreed Clark was “still a symbol of violent and terroristic crime” and that her release would be “incompatible with the welfare of society.”

“We’re very confident we will prevail when the court hears the appeal in October,” said Clark’s attorney, Michael Cardozo.
