The mother of a baby boy left alone at Bronx Dunkin’ Donuts on Tuesday morning left her tiny son there “unintentionally” —  and will not be charged with child neglect, police said.

The 3- to 4-month-old baby was left in a stroller facing the wall at the 1791 Westchester Avenue coffee shop around 8 a.m. — just one day after a newborn was left on a Midtown subway platform, according to police.

“I saw the woman,” Jasmine, the Dunkin’ customer who called 911 after spotting the boy, told The Post. “The baby was right next to her in the stroller. She was facing the wall, so I didn’t see her face.

“We got a croissant. I was walking out when another customer said, ‘Hey, you are forgetting your baby,'” the 33-year-old mother of two recalled. “We went to all the other stores to look around to see if we could find her.

“She just freaking left him there!”

Another customer who identified himself as Pell, 43, said the baby’s mom “didn’t look distressed nor like anything was wrong.

“She looked normal, so I didn’t think anything of it,” he said. “She came back a half an hour later — give or take. She was asking, ‘Where is my child? They took my child?’ Somebody told her the police took the baby and she left.”

The infant was first taken to the 43rd Precinct station house by police and then taken to the hospital, where he was listed in stable condition.

The baby’s mother returned to the Dunkin’ about 20 minutes later and was told by an employee that the baby had been taken by police, sources said.

The mom was interviewed by police at the precinct, but an NYPD spokesperson said the baby was later returned and the woman was not charged, although they provided no details.

The shocking find came less than 24 hours after a newborn baby — with its umbilical cord still attached — was discovered during the Monday morning rush hour wrapped in a pile of blankets on the 1 train platform of the 34th Street-Penn Station.

An unidentified individual had entered the station and left the baby on the dirty floor before leaving the scene on foot, cops said.

The newborn was rushed to Bellevue Hospital by police officers in stable condition.

Police on Tuesday released a video of a woman wanted for questioning in that case, who was seen walking on 34th Street and 7th Avenue holding a bundle wrapped in white cloth.

“It’s heartbreaking, it’s sad,” Jasmine, the Dunkin’ Donuts Samaritan, said of the other abandoned baby. “These babies are innocent. I have two sons and I would never leave them anywhere.”
