A newborn baby boy was found in critical condition with the umbilical cord still attached outside a Queens home Sunday morning, cops and a witness said.

The baby was found at 10:15 a.m. outside a building on 126th Street in South Ozone Park, police said.

“We get there and there’s a male infant found on the side of the building,” a police spokesman said.

When the baby was discovered, his umbilical cord was still attached, said a woman who said she made the grim find, only identifying herself as the owner of the nearby Little Flower Daycare.

The child was taken to Jamaica Hospital Medical Center in critical condition.

The building appears to have a driveway on one side and an alleyway on the other, but it wasn’t clear on which side the infant was found, the spokesman said. Police were investigating how the baby ended up there.

Cops confirmed that they are questioning a 23-year-old woman, but couldn’t immediately specify her connection to the newborn.
