At least two people were hurt when a fire erupted inside a Brooklyn high-rise Tuesday morning, fire officials said.
Firefighters responded shortly before 4:30 a.m. to 444 Neptune Ave. in Coney Island, where they found a fully engulfed apartment on the fourth floor of the 23-story building, an FDNY spokesman said.
Video posted by the New York Rescue Response Team from the scene shows heavy flames consuming one part of the apartment, while thick smoke billows from adjacent windows.
One resident and one firefighter were taken to area hospitals for their injuries, the spokesman said. Their conditions were not immediately available.
