A worker dismantling an air-conditioning duct at the problem-plagued former Deutsche Bank building at Ground Zero has filed a lawsuit over an injury he suffered during demolition preparations.
Geovanny Chamorro was helping cut the duct for removal in January when it fell onto his shoulder as he stood on a scaffold, said his lawyer Nussin Fogel.
Chamorro filed a lawsuit Monday in Queens Supreme Court against Bovis Lend-Lease, which is overseeing the demolition.
