A prisoner on Staten Island snatched a Taser from an NYPD cop by reaching right through the bars of his holding cell and pulling it from the officer’s belt, video shows.

Andrew Lawrence, 22, could be seen in the holding cell at the 120 Precinct station house in St. George on May 26 as he quickly swipes the Taser and threatens to shock two officers through the bars, according to video obtained by The Post

The grab caused the two officers to scramble into the next cell for safety.

Lawrence was charged with reckless endangerment and menacing police, according to court records.

The suspect also order to receive a psychiatric evaluation by a judge.

The NYPD was looking into the circumstances behind the incident.
