A 63-year-old woman was shot in her ankle as she walked on Queens sidewalk Saturday afternoon, police said.
The woman was walking on 165th Street near Jamaica Avenue when a gunman started firing in front of a 99-cent pizza shop, according to police.
The woman, an innocent bystander, felt a sharp pain in her ankle and realized she’d been shot, authorities said.
She was rushed Jamaica Hospital and is expected to survive, cops said.
The gunman, who fired two shots, has not been caught.
