The feds should inform riders about discount tour-bus companies’ safety records by assigning each firm a letter grade, Sen. Charles Schumer said yesterday.

The call for grades similar to those given to New York restaurants, based on cleanliness or the lack thereof, comes three months after a Bronx crash killed 15 passengers. The city has since sidelined hundreds of buses for safety violations.
