New Yorkers will get an early taste of spring this week as temperatures are expected to soar into the 70s, 10 to 25 degrees above normal.

Weather like this isn’t usually seen in the Big Apple until at least May, so meteorologists are bracing for records to be broken on Wednesday and Thursday, when the mercury will hit 74 and 73, respectively, according to AccuWeather.

The warmth will be a far cry from the chilly conditions and snow that residents put up with last week.

“I believe that winter itself, the worst of winter, is over,” AccuWeather lead long-range forecast meteorologist Paul Pastelok said.

“It is not uncommon for snow in spring in the Northeast, but we have turned the corner to spring.”

In comparison, New York City received nearly 19 inches of snow last March, with the last measurable snowfall blanketing the region on March 20.

There will be such problem now — this week’s warmer weather will be accompanied by sunshine.
