We know where the wild things are in New York City — at the movie premieres.

“Gossip Girl” gal Blake Lively showed up at the opening of “Where the Wild Things Are” in Manhattan Tuesday night in an outfit that would make a monster roar.

The outfit — identified by the Just Jared blog as a “nude tulle corset Marchesa dress with ebony feather skirt and embroidered flower bodice” — turned heads at Alice Tully Hall.

The Spike Jonze-directed film hits theaters tomorrow.

Also on hand for the premiere were producer Tom Hanks; the film’s young star, Max Records; actor Forest Whitaker; Yeah Yeah Yeahs frontwoman Karen O, who performs on the film soundtrack; and 81-year-old “Wild Things” author Maurice Sendak.
