Disbarred civil-rights lawyer Lynne Stewart’s days as a free radical may be coming to an end. A Manhattan federal judge revoked Stewart’s $500,000 bond late yesterday, but gave her until 5 p.m. today to seek a stay from the Second Circuit Court of Appeals, which Tuesday ordered her to begin serving a 28-month sentence for helping an imprisoned terrorist leader exchange messages with his followers.

The 70-year-old leftist, who spent much of yesterday on a park bench in Foley Square waiting to find out when she would be locked up, couldn’t be reached after Judge John Koeltl handed down his ruling.
