Jennifer Hudson was rushed to a New York hospital Friday morning due to food poisoning.

The Grammy and Oscar winner was scheduled to appear on both ABC’s “Good Morning America” and CBS’ “Early Show” in order to promote her new album, “I Remember Me.”

In between performances, the 29-year-old singer complained of “abdominal pain” and became “unable to perform,” her rep told the Pop Eater entertainment blog.

Hudson, who is also well-known for losing 80 pounds (36 kilos) and is a spokeswoman for Weight Watchers, “was treated for food poisoning and released,” according to TMZ.
