The man accused of forcing his cheating girlfriend to walk naked down a Harlem street laughed and joked after his Manhattan court appearance Thursday.

Wearing a slick suit and a new pair of specs, Jason Melo, 24, was all smiles as he yakked on the phone in Spanish outside Manhattan court.

Both sides has just appeared for a status hearing in the case. Melo is next due in court June 13.

He is accused of choking and punching his victim with their newborn daughter nearby and then forcing her out into the cold street wearing a towel after he caught her sending naked pictures to other men.

Once she was shivering in the January cold, the cad allegedly ripped off her towel, sneering “You’re going to pay the price like a whore, right there by the trash. Pose with your trash.”

He has been charged with endangering the welfare of a child, coercion, and assault. Melo also has an open drug-felony case in Massachusetts, authorities said.

His ex-girlfriend has fled to Florida to get away from the fiend, prosecutors said Thursday.

Melo previously told a Post reporter, “She shouldn’t have done what she did” when asked whether he regretted beating the mother of his child.
