They were cruising for a bruising at the Jersey Shore yesterday.

Two men were injured when two boats collided in waters off Long Branch, the Coast Guard reported.

It’s not yet clear what caused the crash between the 18-foot and 36-foot motorboats at 1:15 p.m.

The two injured men were in the smaller craft. One suffered a head injury, while the other apparently went into shock. Four people were in the 36-foot craft, but none was injured.
