A man marvels at Jersey City’s 9/11 memorial after its dedication yesterday. Called “Empty Sky,” the monument in Liberty State Park honors the 746 New Jerseyans who died in 9/11. Their names are engraved in steel on two 30-foot-high parallel walls that point across the river to Ground Zero. At 208 feet long, each wall matches the width of a trade-center tower. Two pieces of Twin Tower steel sit at the entrance.
