Jeter home to stay
This is what a $51 million man looks like.
Yankee shortstop Derek Jeter — fresh off signing a new deal with the team — returns home to his East Side apartment at Trump World Tower at around noon yesterday after a two-hour physical exam at Columbia University Medical Center.
The Yankee captain needs the green light from doctors to make the new pact official.
Jeter will be paid around $17 million for at least three years, keeping him in pinstripes through his 39th birthday.
