JFK Jack meows his last
Jack the Cat, who managed to survive for two months while lost at JFK Airport, lost his brave fight for life yesterday.
Workers found him dehydrated on Oct. 25 when he fell through a ceiling tile.
“It’s been a heartbreaking experience that I hope no one ever has to go through,” said his owner, Karen Pascoe. “I will miss Jack every day. He was very special.”
Vets at Blue Pearl Veterinary Partners did all they could, but recommended that Jack be put down after realizing “that more treatments offered little or no chance of survival,” said a spokeswoman.
