Terrorist wannabes who plotted to blow up Kennedy Airport tried to get help from a senior al Qaeda figure implicated in the plan to bomb subways, one of the JFK conspirators testified yesterday.

Donald Nero, 51, said his fellow plotters tried to make contact with Adnan Shukrijumah, the fugitive terrorist who has a $5 million price on his head.

“We thought he could bring the fighting skills he had, his know-how, how to shoot guns and make bombs,” Nero testified in Brooklyn federal court.

Nero, a citizen of Guyana, said he was an original member of the JFK plot.
