The American Airlines terminal at Kennedy Airport was reopened after a suspicious bag was spotted in the terminal.

An unidentified male passenger left a nearly empty black bag in the American Airlines business lounge at 7:38 a.m., a Port Authority spokesman told The Post.

The passenger raised security suspicions because the bag was his only piece of luggage, the spokesman said.

The terminal was reopened around 9 a.m. after the bag was cleared in a security screening.

The lounge is prior to airport security screening.
