A professional jockey’s agent hacked into the New York Racing Association’s computers hundreds of times to get inside information on horses needing a rider to snare more work for his client, authorities said Tuesday.
Miguel “Mike” Gonzalez, 52, of Oceanport, NJ, paid two unidentified NYRA employees $100 a month each to use their log-ins and passwords, according to a criminal complaint.
Gonzalez was released without bail after he was arraigned in Queens Criminal Court on Monday on 170 counts each of computer trespass and tampering with a sports contest.
