A woman fought off a perv who tried to rape her at knifepoint as she was jogging in Prospect Park early Wednesday, authorities said.

The 23-year-old victim was running along a path near Prospect Park West and Garfield Place when a man ran up behind her, threw her to the ground and pulled out a knife.

The man told her that he was going to sexually assault her as he struggled to pin her down, but the woman fought back, cops said.

The would-be rapist eventually gave up and ran away. The victim suffered a cut on her right hand and was taken to Methodist Hospital, where she received two stitches.

Police are still looking for the suspect, described as a black man standing around 6-feet tall with light facial hair and wearing a black sweatsuit.
