Brooklyn Republican Party Chairman Craig Eaton yesterday announced his support of supermarket mogul John Catsimatidis for mayor.

“John Catsimatidis will be a superior candidate for our Republican Party and for all the New Yorkers who care about the future of our city,” Eaton said.

“John has not forgotten his roots as a small-businessman. He’s a job creator,” Eaton said.

Gristedes chief Catsimatidis has also been endorsed by the Queens and Manhattan GOP.

His chief party rival, front-runner Joe Lhota, has the backing of influential Brooklyn state Sen. Martin Golden and most GOP elected officials.

Eaton said his backing of Catsimatidis “does not lessen the respect” he has for Lhota.
