Fuming transit workers will gather with disabled riders in Downtown Brooklyn today to protest the MTA’s planned elimination of bus lines that run over the Manhattan and Williamsburg bridges.

The service cuts would strand thousands of riders who can’t navigate subway stairs, union representatives charge.

“Dear riders, this bus has been hijacked — by the MTA,” read fliers printed by Transport Workers Union Local 100, which represents about 35,000 MTA employees.

Cutting both bus lines will save the cash-strapped MTA — which faces a budget shortfall of about $735 million — about $2 million each year, the agency said.

Today’s rally will be held in Downtown Brooklyn, union officials said.

The reductions will affect about 2,000 riders, the MTA said.
