Former “Daily Show” host Jon Stewart said that Mayor de Blasio made the right decision awarding a key to the city to 9/11 hero Ray Pfeifer Saturday instead of the comedian.
Pfeifer helped pressure Congress to renew health benefits for first responders.
“The key to the city is a symbol of trust, and I think if you gave it to me and go to sleep I’d steal the Chrysler Building,” Stewart joked at a City Hall ceremony honoring Pfeifer.
