A 16-year-old boy driving a stolen car involved in a Manhattan rollover crash over the Fourth of July weekend has been charged with manslaughter for the multi-vehicle wreck that left two of his friends dead and injured three others, police said Wednesday.

The teenager, whose name was not released because he is a minor, was arrested Wednesday and hit with a slew of charges — including two counts of manslaughter and two counts of criminally negligent homicide — in the July 3 crash, cops said.

Police and witnesses said the young driver was speeding in a stolen 2019 Hyundai Elantra loaded up with four passengers and running red lights north on Audubon Avenue around 7 a.m. when he was T-boned by a 2011 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The impact sent the SUV, which had been heading west on West 179th Street, spinning, causing it to block the intersection, cops said

The joyriding teen then lost control of his vehicle, which kept going north on Audubon Avenue and slammed into an empty 2023 Jeep Grand Cherokee.

The impact caused the Hyundai sedan to flip over, setting off a chain-reaction crash involving two parked cars.

Two of the passengers in the sedan, identified as Daniel Duran, 15, and Daniel Rodriguez, 17, both of the Bronx, were hospitalized but didn’t survive.

Two other passengers, both 15-year-old boys, were also hospitalized after the metal carnage, and initially listed in critical condition.

The teen driver was also taken to the hospital with serious injuries, cops said.

The 53-year-old driver of the Jeep Grand Cherokee was taken to Harlem Hospital and treated for non-life-threatening injuries, police said.

The 16-year-old driver was also charged with 10 counts of assault, six counts of criminal possession of stolen property, unauthorized use of a vehicle, criminal mischief and two counts of reckless endangerment, police said.
