A Manhattan federal judge dismissed a lawsuit by a former Vassar College student who claimed he was wrongfully booted from the school after being accused of raping a female rowing teammate.

Judge Ronnie Abrams said in a ruling last week that Xiaolu “Peter” Yu — who was not charged — did not prove that he was a victim of gender bias.
