A Manhattan federal appeals court judge has postponed the surrender date for Joseph Percoco, Gov. Cuomo’s former top aide, who was convicted last year on corruption charges.

Percoco was supposed to turn himself this Friday to begin serving his six-year prison term, but Second Circuit Appeals Court Judge Peter Hall, in a written order last Friday, said Percoco can stay out at least until a three-judge appeal panel is able to consider whether he should have bail while he fights his conviction of accepting $300,000 in bribes from two energy companies that sought favor with the Cuomo administration.
