A juror at the political- corruption trial of Brooklyn Democratic Assemblyman William Boyland Jr. yesterday sent a note in a bid to pepper a witness with questions — but was shot down by the judge.

“For better or worse, jurors are not permitted to put questions to the witnesses,” Manhattan federal Judge Jed Rakoff told the panelist.
