A federal judge threw out a lawsuit claiming Gov. Andrew Cuomo was responsible for alleged sexual harassment of a Department of Motor Vehicles receptionist by one of his high-powered appointees.

The US Southern District Court dismissed the complaint naming Cuomo and alleging the governor conspired against Lisa Marie Cater by hiring and protecting an economic czar who allegedly harassed her after getting her a job as she sought help from domestic violence.

The judge ruled that the complainant was aware that Cuomo does not monitor his official Facebook or website — where she lodged her complaints — and that there was no proof the governor was aware of any plight she claims she faced.

The allegations against former economic development regional director Sam Hoyt are still pending but were thrown out by a state panel that investigated them.
