The judge who approved the $700 million settlement for thousands of first responders exposed to toxic World Trade Center dust wants other defendants to join in.

Manhattan federal Judge Alvin Hellerstein yesterday urged other defendants, including hundreds of building cleaners, to sign onto the settlement.

The settlement must be approved by 95 percent of the plaintiffs before becoming final.
