Manhattan jurors were shown gruesome crime scene photos Monday of
where UBS banker Shele Danishefsky was found dead in 2009.
Her estranged husband, Rod Covlin, is on trial for snapping her neck with a martial arts chokehold then making it look like a slip and fall to score her $5.2 million fortune.
In the photos, Danishefsky’s body is under a sheet beside the tub — as one bare foot with red-painted toenails protrudes from the shroud.
A toddler’s training potty is also visible bobbing in the reddish water.
The couple’s then 9-year-old daughter found Danishefsky 47, face-down in the tub on New Year’s Eve 2009. Their 3-year-old son was asleep in a nearby room.
Meanwhile, prosecutors showed jurors a pie graph of Covlin’s web search activity, revealing his obsession with hookers and his beloved hobby, backgammon.
About 28 percent of Covlin’s internet searches in 2009 related to escorts and women he met on Facebook followed by 22 percent related to his pursuit of a fanciful backgammon career.
