Jurors were warned they would hear two NYPD officers’ “screams and cries for help” as they were overcome by smoke while responding to a 2014 fire set by a “bored” teenager, as prosecutors Friday opened the murder case against the teen.

Officers Dennis Guerra and Rosa Rodriguez rode the elevator to the 13th floor of 2007 Surf Ave. and were immediately met by dense smoke and flames from a burning mattress that then-16-year-old Marcell Dockery allegedly ignited.

“You’re going to hear the screams and cries for help from Rosa Rodriguez and Dennis Guerra. ‘Help! Help! Can’t breathe! 10-13!’ ” Assistant District Attorney Howard Jackson said.

Jackson recounted the harrowing moments of April 6, 2014, for jurors in Brooklyn Supreme Court. Guerra died three days later and Rodriguez was left with permanent injuries.

Defense attorney Jesse Young didn’t deliver opening statements but maintained that Dockery’s statements to police had been coerced.
