A Long Island karate teacher has been arrested for sexually abusing a 14-year-old female student, police said Friday.

Michael Carretto, 26, a teacher at Dragon’s Gate Martial Arts Academy in Oakdale, groped the young student Sept. 11, police said.

Carretto, who lives in Ronkonkoma, was arrested by Suffolk County detectives about 5:15 p.m. Thursday, police said.

He faces charges of sexual abuse and endangering the welfare, cops said.

Carretto is expected to be arraigned in the Central Islip court on Friday, police said.
