Not only is she sexy, but Kate Hudson clearly has good taste, as she reads the city’s favorite newspaper — the New York Post, of course — in a sexy Harper’s Bazaar photo shoot set in a retro beauty parlor.

Hudson lets her hair down in the mag’s January issue, dishing about motherhood and her love life — including her not-so-secret romance with Yankee slugger Alex Rodriguez.

Baseball fans were quick to credit the “Almost Famous” star as a good-luck charm, helping A-Rod find his mojo and capture the World Series with the Bombers.

Hudson laughs about a photo that appeared in papers of her smooching the baseball hunk.

“That was a sideswipe on the cheek. That wasn’t even a kiss,” she said. “I remember one of the headlines the next day said, ‘MAKEOUT SESSION.’ What is wrong with people?”
