Former WABC sportscaster and accused child rapist Marvell Scott insisted yesterday that the case against him is built entirely off “the testimony of criminals and liars.”

“I will definitely be vindicated in court. I have no doubt in my mind,” he said.

Scott, 36, who left television last year to be a doctor full time, said he never had sex with a 14-year-old Times Square hooker, and only let her and a friend into his apartment because he found her “crying profusely” in the street.

“I’m in the medical profession,” he said. “For me, if you stop on the street and see someone in distress, it is not uncommon to try and find out what is going on.”

Prosecutors allege Scott brought the girl and her 16-year-old friend up to his Midtown apartment in June 2008 and forced the younger girl to have sex.

But Scott said the DA is “pursuing a case where there is no physical evidence and based on the testimony of criminals and liars.”
