The woman who lived under a fake name for 26 years after her mother whisked her out of New Jersey amid a bitter custody battle has little sympathy for the father who searched for her for years.

“That’s great he wanted to find me. I’m found,” the woman raised as Melissa Reed told The Star-Ledger of Newark. “[But] I need my mom back now.”

Reed, 32, spoke out hours before her mother, Nancy Dunsavage, 58, pleaded not guilty to custody interference.

Reed, who had been living with her mom in Nevada, learned only last month that her real name is Eva Marie Fiedler. Her mom spilled the beans on the eve of Reed’s wedding.

Reed was 6 when Dunsavage, facing a custody hearing with ex-husband Gregory Fiedler, fled with her. Fiedler has said he spent years — and a fortune — trying to find his daughter.
