The Brooklyn driver of a limo that fatally hit his brother-in-law was held in lieu of $10,000 bail on DWI and vehicular-manslaughter charges yesterday — over objection’s from the victim’s family, according to the driver’s lawyer.

James Medows, who represents Yan Krainert, 50, said, “The victim’s wife does not want this to go forward. The family wants him home.”

Viktor Avadyayev, 53, and Krainert were standing behind the vehicle when it rolled backward and hit Avadyayev Sunday.

Krainert “jumped in and pressed the brake, but the car rolled back even faster,” said Assistant DA Tziyonah Langsam. “His brother-in-law was lying on the ground, face down in blood.”

Krainert told cops he had a shot of vodka, and an open bottle of scotch was found in the limo, Langsam said.
