A tiny kitten found dodging traffic on the George Washington Bridge was rescued by a good Samaritan on Monday, authorities said.

Port Authority Police officers were dispatched in the afternoon when the cat was captured near the crossing’s lower level toll plaza.

Shortly after, the interstate agency posted a photo on Twitter with one their officers, Lauren Lattanzio, holding the fury feline that is only slightly bigger than her hands.

The agency named the kitten Highway and said the cat was taken to the Bergen County Animal where it will be put up for adoption.

The Bergen County Animal and Adoption Center requests that those looking to adopt animals should visit Tuesday through Sundays.
