Owners of a major hub for counterfeit goods in Chinatown have agreed to pay New York City $800,000 in a civil settlement.
The case was brought after police raided the sellers in 2008.
A two-month probe by Mayor Bloomberg’s Office of Special Enforcement yielded dozens of undercover purchases of illegal counterfeit goods like handbags and jewelry.
