Ed Koch says his bridge is “better than the George Washington Bridge.”

The feisty 86-year-old former mayor made the assessment yesterday as Mayor Bloomberg signed a bill renaming the Queensboro Bridge in Koch’s honor. Koch helped repair that bridge and others while in office from 1978 through 1989.
